St George has a rich history and there are a number of monuments that bear witness to the passage of time here. The streets have quaint names such as Petticoat Lane and Barber’s Lane. There are many fine bars and cafes where you can step in for a brief respite from the sun.

History buffs should plan a visit to the St. George's Historical Society Museum, the Bermuda National Trust Museum and the Tucker House Museum, where they can get a glimpse of the region’s history and culture.
The Bridge House Gallery is a must-see for all art lovers and displays ancient Bermudan antiques and collectibles, old original paintings and local handicrafts.
