The Seven Mile Beach, a long coral-sand beach, is located on the Grand Cayman Island, Cayman Islands. Situated on the western end of the Grand Cayman, this exotic beach is one of the most beautiful Caribbean beaches and is home to a large number of Grand Cayman resorts and hotels.
The area has a tropical marine climate, with warm summers and cold, dry winters. Light showers are prominent during the summer season. The period from November to April is the cold season.
The area around the Seven Mile Beach was severely destroyed by Hurricane Ivan, which struck Grand Cayman in 2004. Today, the beach has recovered from the damage and is one of the most visited Caribbean beaches.
