Tourist Guide Limón
Limon is a town located in the province of Costa Rica in Central America. The division of Limon is done into four parts namely Limon, Vlle de la Estrella, Blanco and Matama. This town basically consists of the people of African origin. The 2000 census clearly shows that the population here is low as compared to other towns of Costa Rica. The population here mainly speaks the language of Makatelyu, which is a Creole of English. Thus maximum portion of the land is used for occupation related to the harbor. This city was the former leader in banana exports when the rail line was functional. The climate here is calm in the summers but it goes on cooling with the setting of the rain. There are people here who are believed to be of Jamaican origin and are considered as the original inhabitants of the area.
