The magnificent Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve invites the visitor, with its spell bounding scenery, tall trees which are decorated with orchid’s mosses, ferns, bromeliads and vines.
The climate is unpredictable and that has helped in producing an extremely high diversity in the biological factors. It has few exotic features like a Cathedral of grandiose green, woodlands with ridges which are exposed.
The wildlife includes the Bare necked Umbrella bird, Ocelot, Jaguar, Three-wattled Bellbird, Resplendent Quetzal and Bairds Tapir.
