When in Tamarindo, the beach is the only place to go. From sport fishing to surfing the beach offers myriad adventures. To the north of Tamarindo Beach lies Playa Grande and to its south you can find another beautiful beach, Playa Langosta. Both beaches are important nesting grounds for the giant leatherback turtles. Also, visit the nearby wildlife refuge of Diria as well as the Marino Las Baulas National Park.
