Compared to other beaches in Cuba, Playas del Este beach is popular amongst the habaneros, the native people. This beach is mostly crowded during the summer season. The beach is famous for lying out underneath the rays of sun. One can easily rent a sail boat or pedal boats or even a canoe. This beach is a short drive from the city center and is a long stretch of beach which runs for miles.
