The José Martí International Airport is situated about 15km SW of Havana, Cuba and serves as a prime hub for Cubana de Aviacion, Aerocaribbean and Aerogaviota.
The airport got its name in honor of the local poet, Jose Marti. It is operated by ECASA and handles more than twenty-five international airlines which connect to over sixty destinations worldwide and three national airlines serving sixteen domestic destinations.
Three airport terminals are in constant use while a fourth one is reserved for Aerocarribean. Bus services are available between terminals for passengers and luggage.
Terminal 2 and 3 are the busiest complexes handling mainly charter and international flight respectively. A number of car rentals services, bookshops, bars, restaurants, a bank, a post office, and internet café and tourist information centers are available in these buildings.
Main international airlines include Air Canada, Air Europe, Air France, Mexicana and Condor Airlines.
