Bayahibe is located east of Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. The town of Bayahibe is basically a fishing village surrounded by vacation resorts. The topography of the area is unique with sandy beaches and lush green hills.
The climate is tropical; the average temperature remains at around 20° C throughout the year. With a population of around 3,000, most of the residents are of mixed European, African and Taino ancestry. A small part of the population is also of Spanish descent.
The culture is a vibrant mix of the Hispanic, African and Taino. The main languages that are spoken in the region are Spanish, English, French, German and Italian
