Cabarete is a small beach village located on the northern shore of the Dominican Republic. It is only 20 minutes away from the Puerto Plata International Airport.
The village is spread over a beautiful semi-circular beach amidst golden sands. Just behind the beach is a tranquil lagoon and lush green hills. The climate is tropical and pleasant with a refreshing wind that blows throughout the year.
The culture is a vibrant mix of the Hispanic, African and Taino. The people of this area are very friendly and welcoming. The main languages that they speak are Spanish, English, French, German and Italian
