One of America's favourite beaches. Who would say no to a beach in Santo Domingo? As the stereotype recites blue water, white sand and coconut trees are all there is. A town favourite is the Don Juan beach in the north. The road to get there is exciting as it takes a little climb towards the forest to get there.
If you don't feel as adventurous Barcelo Capello is an easy car ride and is just as beautiful as any other beach. Sometimes the music gets to loud for some people's taste but if you walk for twenty minutes you can reach a beautiful isolated area called Tortuga by the locals.
