Parque Colon is known to be one of the main gathering places of Santo Domingo. This plaza is a square where one can see a bronze statue of Columbus at its center. This square is the main attraction to the locals as well as to the tourists. It is also a festive site, where many visitors come at the square daily and spending time with friends and family or roaming around the square.
