Tourist Guide San Salvador:

The Republic of El Salvador covers an area of about 22,000 km2 where 7,000,000 spanish speakers live.
Other languages are known and english is widely diffused, too!
They are mostly Roman Catholic, but Protestants represent at least 25% of the whole population.
El Salvador achieved its own independence in September 1821 and though the smallest among the other Central American Countries it is the most densily populated.

San Salvador is a large spread out city and one generally requires a vehicle to get around, the city boast several malls, in the westen sector, while east of Metrocentro and in the north are poorer areas such as Zacamil, Mejicanos, apopa and soyapango, some colonias in these area can be dangerous by day or night if walking or busing through, so dress down and dress like a native.

San Salvador is also called Guanahani, that is when Cristopher Columbos discovered San Salvador. It's an island of the Bahamas. It is close the islands of Cat island and Long island.
