Soyapango is an urban district of El Salvador having corporate status and powers of self-government. It is an administrative division of ‘San Salvador department’. The city has almost 290412 inhabitants. The municipality of Soyapango is the second largest populated area of the country. It covers a total area of 11.5 square meters. The coordinates are at 13°44′N 89°09′W. Soyapango is a major public road between the country’s eastern part and San Salvador. Each and every day, almost 70000 vehicles move around through that area. Soyapango is also a major commercial center. Plaza Mundo is a new advanced mall that is situated in this place. This small city is nicknamed as ‘Soya’. It is popular for being a stronghold of ‘Mara Salvatrucha’. The climate of Soyapango is fantastic. Normally, a windy natured climate is exhibited. The temperature varies between 15 degree Celsius and 30 degree Celsius.
