Livingston is a famous city located in the Izabal Department, in eastern Guatemala in Central America. Livingston is situated adjacent to the city of Puerto Barrios and it is also the head of the municipality seat here. The city is situated at the latitude of about 15 degrees and longitude of 88 degrees and is about 102 meters above the sea level. This city was a very important port on the coast of the Caribbean Sea but this is not the case now. The city is also close to the Green Caribbean. The people of this city are mostly Kekchi speaking with a few minorities. Fishing is the main activity that is carried out here. This place has very good landscapes and also hills. This area experiences an oceanic type of climate with hot summers and chilly winters. The rainfall in this area is high. This city is not connected to others by road and the waterway is the only option to reach here.
