Located in northern Haiti is the beautiful Port of Labadee which is famous for its breathtaking beauty. It is also one of the safest tourist destinations in the country. It has lovely beaches and great scenic beauty. The Citadelle is a very important historic site and will be a great place for the history lovers. The Petionville area is a popular place for foreigners visiting capital city of Port au Prince. It has quite a few good restaurants serving the authentic Haitian cuisine. Plaine du Cul de Sac and Barbancourt Rum Distillery are the other important places of tourist attraction in the city.
Diving, swimming, hiking, trekking, etc. are some of the activities for those planning some adventure. There are some beautiful beaches where one can spend some quiet moments, but one should always be careful about the safety of such places.
Cap-Haitien, Gonaives, Milot, Saint-Marc are a few of the cities worth visiting while on a trip to Haiti.
