Haitian food is worth giving a try. Kabrit (roasted goat), griot (fried pork) and rice served with mushroom are the local specialities. This nation also has a variety of sea food to offer to its visitors. There is also a whole range of juicy tropical fruits that one can enjoy when in Haiti.
Haitian rum, clairin (made from sugarcane) and Prestige (beer) are the easily available alcoholic drinks. Coconut water often serves as a substitute for water in Haiti.
