Les Cayes Travel Guide

I am from Les Cayes and very proud of being a Cayenne. Although I left Les Cayes some 37 years ago, I still call Les Cayes my home. Nothing can separate me from Les Cayes. Part of the things that make Les Cayes so beautiful is that the lauriers that you have on both side when you entering the ville. Those flowers spoke for themselves, they welcome you in a way that say Bienvenue in Aux Cayes. The beaches from Les Cayes are so beautiful, specially Port-Salut. The water fall from Camp-Perrin is breath taking. If you go deeper into the south vers Les Coteaux, Chardonnieres you will feel so free that you will not want to go back to Port-au-Prince. Welcome to my home town Les Cayes

Best beaches! Take the motorcycle transportation or camionet. The beaches have restaurants and dinning locals on them. The beaches are clean and waves are just right. Les cayes really embodies old caribbean. The colors, the streets, the food are all like what the craibbean was before "westernization" (which is what makes port-au-prince look the way it does).

Les Cayes is the "Best kept secret" of Haiti, in terms of it's position on the island and it's achitecture. Les Cayes should be voted for the most charming costal city of Haiti. The people are very hospitable and respectful. The only undesirable element in Les Cayes is the collection of garbage at the ocean front of the city.

it is a fun and enjoyable place to visit and has many amazing sights to see. the water, the sky, the people, ALL FRIENDLY! i wish i could go back!
