The Macaya National Park is a beautiful nature reserve that has a variety of exotic plants and animals and is also home to Haiti’s last virgin cloud forest. On the way to the National Park don’t forget to stop at Saut Mathurine, Haiti’s biggest waterfall.
The Fete de Notre Dame is held every year in August and is one of the best times to visit the town with festivities lasting till early hours of the morning.
