Seven Mile Beach was once haunted by Pirates centuries ago. This seven mile stretch of golden sand beach is at present ruled by sun worshippers and beach visitors. In 1960s, the beach was famous amongst the hippies. Still beautiful today, the beach is an idyllic retreat for all. There are resorts and condos that line this beach and attract tourists. Moreover, this beach is one of the only beaches in Jamaica which appeals to all, even to social and active vacationers. Other than that, the beach is famous for its range of water sports activities. It is also famous for diving under the translucent aquamarine waters.
