Blue Lagoon located seven miles to the east of Port Antonio, is a region surrounded by dense green vegetation and steep hillsides.
Experts say that the lagoon is about 185 feet deep; however some claim it is an abyss.
The tourists will enjoy being around the intense and deep turquoise water. Along the seashore is a restaurant, a decent venue to have food or a drink and merely enjoy this significant site.
Scuba diving, glass bottom boat rides and water skiing are also offered here.
Located on a blue lagoon amid the spectacular Blue Mountains as a background are the Blue Lagoon Villas.
Visitors can snorkel, swim or gain a Scuba certification. For those who want to meet the rich and famous, the Blue Lagoon is the place to visit.
The villas and restaurant have welcomed many celebrities including Bernard Picasso, Billy Baldwin, Anthony Hopkins and Princess Elizabeth before she was crowned Queen of England.
