The colourfully painted buses, called as diablo rojo, are extremely reasonably priced.
A taxi service is also available outside the airport but one has to negotiate the price in advance if the taxi drivers do not use the meter.
The roads in the city are not that well maintained and the driving of the locals is rough so be vigilant while walking or driving on the roads.
There is no railway or subway within the city and the city roads get crowded with cars causing traffic problems.
