Trinidad and Tobago has been the leading producer of natural gas in the Caribbean. Tourism, food processing, chemicals and petroleum have been the major sources of economy in the nation. The country exports petroleum products, chemicals, steel products, fertilizers and flowers. The daily cost of living for a tourist is not very high. Travel, dining and accommodation are affordable.
