| Nerja-London- Malaga |
I greeted the New Year on the plaza 'Balcon de Europa' in Nerja, Spain. As the church clock chimed in the New Year, the custom was to pop a grape in your mouth on each chime - one of many amusing Spanish customs... >>>

After a last coffee at the bar and saying the unevitable goodbye to Joko we are on our way. First we go to the supermarket at Nin where we left or lost our wallet and it has been found, waiting for us. Lucky us.

| Barcelona travel account September 2004 |
It is cold and wet when we leave home to drive to the airport. The thermometer says it is only 13 degrees Celsius (55 F) and it keeps raining all the trip. For the last part we take the train to Schiphol to flee to warm Barcelona. We took our summer holiday very early in the year and we have had a busy summer, so we really need a week of active rest now. >>>
