After a last coffee at the bar and saying the unevitable goodbye to Joško we are on our way.
First we go to the supermarket at Nin where we left or lost our wallet and it has been found, waiting for us. Lucky us. >>>

Our holiday is almost over; a last breakfast in Prague and then we get into the car. At 9, it is already 30 degrees. >>>

To get up before 7 is very early for a holiday, in our opinion. But we have a long trip planned and it is holiday, so we are ready for it. The hours and kilometers are flying by and sometimes we see the sun peek through the cloudy sky. Everything is going very well, so we think... >>>

It has been only three months since we last went on holiday, but these three months have been very tiring and stressfull, so we are glad we have some time to discover new things and relax abroad.

In the beginning of the year we have made a list with countries we would like to visit, but there could be only one winner and that was Great Britain, although Teije would have liked to go to France, but we made a compromise and will go there next year. >>>

We are going to Italy! Why Italy, people ask? Although Italy is a very popular holiday destination it is not so obvious for us, since we have not much affinity with this country. But it is the only big West-European country that we haven't visited yet and people tell us that it is a nice country. So, that is what we are going to find out ourselves, this time. >>>

It is cold and wet when we leave home to drive to the airport. The thermometer says it is only 13 degrees Celsius (55 F) and it keeps raining all the trip. For the last part we take the train to Schiphol to flee to warm Barcelona. We took our summer holiday very early in the year and we have had a busy summer, so we really need a week of active rest now. >>>
