Location: the apartment lies in the countryside enjoying the most marvellous views of the undulating landscape and the towers of San Gimignano only 3 km away. Within a short drive in different directions, are the Castelfalfi country club with its superb golf course and tennis courts, the town of Certaldo with its interesting medieval quarter and Poggibonsi with its many shops and entrance to the Florence/Siena motorway. Whilst just down the road is San Gimignano with its historic treasures, shops, supermarket and many restaurants and cafés.
Description: the house has been divided into three apartments, this apartment, San Gimignano 2004 (both on the first floor) and an apartment used for weekends and holidays by the owners who live near Florence. In the garden each apartment has its own private terrace furnished with table and chairs for eating outside, barbecue and sun umbrella. Next to the garden and enjoying a spectacular panorama is the splendid new swimming pool (12 m x 5 m) which is furnished with sunbeds and sun umbrellas. Parking is close to the apartments. The apartment has its entrance by outside staircase finishing in a private balcony and has very spacious rooms. It is furnished to a high standard in traditional style to offer very comfortable accommodation.
Composition: the apartment is composed by living room with french windows on to balcony, fully equipped kitchen area with fridge, hob (3 gas rings), dining area with table and chairs, lounge area with settee and armchairs and large traditional fireplace, one bedroom with double bed; one bedroom with double bed which on request will be made into two single beds (on request an extra single bed will be put into one of the bedrooms to accommodate a fifth person); large bathroom with shower cubicle, small bath, basin, bidet and w.c. Use of washing machine. Central heating.
The living room has a large traditional wood burning fireplace and both a door and french windows opening on the private balcony. The balcony which is furnished with table and chairs looks down on to the apartment's private terrace and garden area. This very large terrace, which enjoys lovely views of the countryside, has table and chairs for eating outside as well as a barbecue, sun umbrellas and sunbeds. |
