If you are looking for somewhere comfortable and affordable the best place to try first is the University of Bath. We are set in 200 acres of land at Claverton Down surrounded by trees and greenery overlooking the beautiful city of Bath, just over 1 mile from the City centre. A regular bus service to the University departs at 15 minute intervals from the City centre as well as from Bath bus station.We are the only accommodation in Bath to have been awarded A Gold Standard for Green Tourism. We also have been accredited with the Secured Environment Standard which indicates our committment to providing a safe and secure campus for all. The University is unique in that all accommodation is in single bedrooms providing a secure room and your own privacy........ Concerned what to do with your belongings while out, this is not a problem at the university as they can be left securely in your own room.Many of our reception staff are studying at the university so will be able to advise on the best places to eat, drink and see.The University of Bath offers single rooms with shared showers/wc. No minimum stay required. Linen and towels are provided in all rooms. Rooms are serviced once during your stay (if staying for more than three days) and all communal areas are cleaned daily (Monday to Friday). All of our accommodation has access to a communal kitchen equipped with fridge freezers, and iron and ironing board, crockery is provided, there are also dining areas within the kitchens. Tea & Coffee available each morning. Smoking is permitted in outdoor designated areas only.
