Fithostel is a Hostel and Guesthouse With 29 rooms for backpackers. The hostel/ guesthouse offers sleeping bag and made up beds. The rooms are without bathrooms but they are available on all floors.Our service includes:*cooking facilities *breakfast *living rooms *TV *Internet access *Washing facilities *hot tubWe offer breakfast for 800 ISK per person and you can rent bed linen for 500 ISK.Fit hostel/guesthouse is a former apartment building which was changed in the year 2001, to an attractive hostel. The hostel/guesthouse is situated in Njarðvík and offers good and affordable accommodation for everyone. The international airport in Keflavík is only 5 minutes away by car wich makes this hostel/guesthouse a suitable choice for people travelling to and from Iceland. We are only 5 minutes away from the airport, 15 min. from the Blue Lagoon and 45 min. from Reykjavik.This summer, transport to and from the Blue Lagoon will be available. Transport to and from airport is easy since there are two taxi stations located in the vicinity and costs only 1200 ISK for 1-4 people travelling together.The center of Reykjanesbær is only twenty minutes away by foot and buses to and from Reykjavik are scheduled five times a day.The area:The area of Reykjanes has many recreational options for people of all ages. Hiking around the area is a good way to enjoy the nature as well as finding more about Icelandic culture on many historical sites.Here in Reykanes we have two outdoor swimming pools with warm water, the famous Blue Lagoon, exellent area at Garðskagi for birdwathing, hot springs, bridge across continents, two companies that offer whale wathing and sea angling. Golf course, gokart and museums.NjarðvíkThe three towns of Njarðvík, Keflavík and Hafnir were joined together in the municipality of Reykjanesbær in the year 1994.
