Hotel Klastrom in Gyor 

Opening its doors in 1987, this hotel is steeped in history and character and presents the ideal base for a business and leisure guest. Occupying a former monastery, this property offers a unique atmosphere to the visitor.

Hotel Klastrom, partly renovated in April 2006 and February 2008 has got 40 rooms: 9 suites, 1 single, 21 doubles/twins and 9 triples. All rooms are equipped with bath/shower. Some of the rooms are overlooking the inner yard, others the bank of the Rába river.

Our restaurant offers Hungarian and international specialities of the season and the wide-range buffet breakfast makes your stay complete. With nice weather you can enjoy your meal in our inner yard at breakfast, lunch, tea-time, for coffee or at dinner.

The hotel is situated in the historical centre of Gyor. Major attractions are just 5 minutes away from the hotel, such as the thermal baths, museums, exhibitions, the national theatre and a wide choice of restaurants.

By car:From Vienna:- Take the Motorway 1 from Vienna and exit at the Gyor-Centrum table.- Turn right at the first traffic light.- When reaching Gyor, turn left at the third traffic light.- Turn right at the roundabout and you will enter the street that the hotel is situated on.- At the end of this street on the right you will see a yellow building, which is Hotel Klastrom.From Budapest:-Take the motorway 1 from Budapest and exit at the Gyor-Centrum table.- Continue straight ahead on the main street.- Pass the City Hall of Gyor on your left hand side.- Then, take the next right.- Turn right at the roundabout and you will enter the street the hotel is situated in- It is already the street of the hotel.- At the end of this street on the right you will see a yellow building, which is Hotel Klastrom.

Hotel Klastrom situated right in the historical city center of Gyor in the renovated building of the former carmelite cloister is warmly welcoming its guests. The building was built in 1732 according to the plans of a white friar in baroque style. 40 rooms are at the guests’ disposal and the hotel offers a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Nearby you can find the new thermal bath.
