Hotel Wawel in Kraków 

The building was erected in the sixteenth century. In 1995 it became a private property and since then has been offering the services of a hotel with suites, single, double, triple and quadruple rooms which are comfortable, cosy and fully furnished with up-to-date facilities (some with air-conditioning). The hotel is arranged in an art nouveau style and can accommodate 100 guests at a time. Our hotel also recommends its restaurant serving traditional European cuisine, and it has a cosy bar.

Within a few minutes walk you can get to Main Market Place, the Wawel Royal Castle or Kazimierz, the former Jewish district. You also will have countless opportunities to enjoy the cafés, pubs and restaurants situated in the immediate vicinity of our hotel.

The 'Wawel-Tourist' Hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town of Cracow, the former capital of Poland, close to the most attractive districts of the city.The "Wawel-Tourist" Hotel enjoys a rich history. It is located at Poselska Street No 22.At the very beginning of the nineteenth century, the hotel was known as Anthony’s and Margaret’s Hondurkiewicz "Pod Czarnym Orlem" inn. After the fire in 1850 it was rebuilt by the new owner - Katherine Romerowa, and also it gained the new name - "National Hotel". It lasted like that until the twentieth century.Still you will find some fragments of period decorations: the glass roof above the reception hall entrance, the stairs with the iron balustrade and a few more details connected with the old-time decoration.The hotel has become a private property since April 1995. It continues the tradition of the old-time inn, offering professional, quick and discreet service and also an unforgettable, homely atmosphere.

The hotel is situated in the old city restricted traffic zone, so vehicles are only allowed to park in front of the hotel for up to 30 minutes at a time.
