Around the corner from the hotel is the Old Stock Exchange Building, an impressive example of Neo-Classic architecture, with Doric style columns and adorned with statues of Greek gods. Also worth seeing is the cathedral of San Giusto, built on the site of an Augustan temple and still retaining Roman fragments. Within, are fine mosaics from the 7th and 12th centuries.
