Fattoria Guicciardini in San Gimignano 

By Car:From Florence:- Take the A1 motorway.- Exit at Firenze-Certosa.- Take the Superstrada towards Siena. - Exit at Poggibonsi Nord.- Follow the road signs to S. Gimignano. - At the Piazzale Martiri Montemaggio (right in front of the Porta San Giovanni with a petrol station on the left-hand side) in San Gimignano, go towards the centre and from there in the direction of the parking, Parcheggio 3. - Continue on this road and after a view hundred metres turn right through the city gate, Porta delle Fonti. Follow this road (Via delle Fonti) and at the end turn left and then right again into the Via delle Romite. - After only a few meters you reach the Piazza Sant'Agostino. On the left-hand side of the square you can see the Fattoria Guicciardini wine shop. Just left, near the shop, there is the entrance of the hall of the Casa-Vacanze Fattoria Guicciardini.- Unload your luggage and then return to Parcheggio 3 to park your car.From Siena:- Take the highway Superstrada Firenze-Siena towards Florence.- Exit at Poggibonsi Sud. - Follow the road signs to S. Gimignano. - Then, as above.From Pisa: - Take the highway Superstrada SS1 Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI) in the direction of Richtung Florence.- At Firenze-Signa, join the A1 superstrada towards Rome.- After a few minutes take the exit to Firenze Certosa. - From there join the Superstrada to Siena.- Exit at Poggibonsi Nord.- Then as above.In case that you don't have much luggage it is possible to park and then walk to the hotel. From the car park (where guests of Fattoria Guicciardini receive a discount), take the stairs on the other side of the road that lead up to a small city gate (Porta San Jacopo). From there, follow the road and then take the next right. After a few metres you will reach the Piazza Sant'Agostino.
