Due to a technical problem in some on-line travel maps and guides, we inform you that the only way to access by car is from the crossroad to La Saxe from the national road 26.Please do not enter Courmayeur centre following directions for La Saxe. Do not take the road with indication Gran Baita Hotel*** (from national road 26).To easily reach the hotel, please follow these instructions:-Take the national road SS 26. -1 km after the round-about of Courmayeur, driving in direction of the Mont-Blanc Tunnel you will find the crossroads for La Saxe, take this.- Continue for 200 metres in the village, by the small road named "Strada La Montoux". - Once you arrive in the small square you will find the hotel and the car park.

This guest house was once the home of the renowned Alpine guide Emile Rey. It is now a charming and cosy choice for your stay in La Saxe. Hotel Meublé Emile Rey is small and intimate with only 10 guest rooms. This converted 18th-century home is set in the enchanting village of La Saxe, at the foot of Mont Blanc. It is an ideal location for both nature and winter sports enthusiasts, just 900 metres from Courmayeur. Start your day with a delicious, traditional Italian breakfast. The hotel bar is open for snacks and drinks throughout the day. The friendly and professional team of staff will be delighted to recommend and book restaurants in the area for you. During winter the hotel may only be available for long stays of more than 2 nights.

Reception is closed from 22:00 to 08:00. For arrivals during this time, the hotel kindly requests that you contact them prior to arrival.This ancient village has a road network which is poorly suited to modern cars; the size of the roads only allows driving at a walking pace (excluding big cars and 9 or 12 seater buses). Yet the hotel has an ample car park. If you would rather not drive up to the hotel, there are 2 public car parks 80 metres and 150 metres away.
