For more than 45 years, Hotel Dania´s restaurant Underhuset has been serving Danish and French cuisine and a member of the oldest gastronomic association in the world, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

When the speech falls on Silkeborg, you always hear: ''Oh! That is the town with Hotel Dania and the statue of Michael Drewsen the cities founder on the beautiful town square.'' The idea association is completely entitled. Silkeborg and Hotel Dania of 1848 are inseparable and it is almost a coincidence that Hotel Dania could not celebrate her 150 year anniversary in 1996 together with the trade town of Silkeborg.
