By Road - From Leeds/Bradford Airport - Follow signs for the a658. Turn left off of the a658 at the York Road/A59 turn off. Continue along the a59. Close to Upper Poppleton, there will be a roundabout with signs for the a1237. Continue along the a1237 and at the roundabout, take the first exit (North Lane). Follow North Lane for approximately 1 mile and then turn left onto the a64. At Scarborough, continue along Seamer Road/A64 and at the roundabout, take the second exit Queen Margaret's Road/B1427. Turn left onto Filey Road/A165. Turn right onto Somerset Terrace. Turn left onto Falconers Road. Continue along Harcourt Place until you come to Saint Nicholas Street. Turn left onto St. Nicholas Street. From York - Follow signs for the A64. Continue along the A64. At Scarborough, continue along Seamer Road/A64 and at the roundabout, take the second exit Queen Margaret's Road/B1427. Turn left onto Filey Road/A165. Turn right onto Somerset Terrace. Turn left onto Falconer's Road. Continue along Harcourt Place until you come to St. Nicholas Street. Turn left onto St. Nicholas Street. From the M1 - Take the A64 eastbound from the M1 at the junction for York, enter Scarborough and turn right at the railway station. Then immediately left and the hotel is on the left after the first roundabout. Secure car parking is available at the nearby NCP, at a special discounted rate for Royal Hotel customers. The hotel does not, regretfully, have its own car-parking facilities, but has an arrangement with the local ncp at a reduced rate. We have an unloading bay directly outside of the hotel.
