Hostel Mansion House in Scarborough 

The Mansion House has twice featured in the British ITV television series 'The Royal', which was shown in the spring and summer of 2007.

The Victorian Breakfast Room has a lovely atmosphere and ambience. Traditional, vegetarian and continental breakfasts are served, along with pastries, toast, fruit, yogurt, juices, fresh tea and coffee all served with a smile!Breakfast is served:Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 09:30Saturday to Sunday 08:30 – 10:00Evening meals are available for parties of 20 or more.

On arriving in Scarborough follow the signs for the South Bay. The famous Esplanade is the road that runs behind and above the Spa. The Mansion House Hotel is near the centre of the Esplanade at No 45 about 50 metres past the cliff-lift. A location map can be printed from the back page of the hotel web site. The bus and rail station are about 3 km away and can be walked on a nice day but with luggage it is probably better to take a taxi. However, if you decide to walk come out of the bus / railway station follow the road down to the main road and turn right. Head across the metal bridge and turn up the road with the Granville Hotel on the left hand side. This is the Esplanade, we are No 45 which is about 300 metres along.

The beach and the Cliff Lift are across the road, and the harbour and town centre are within easy walking distance.

The hotel does not have a lift. The hotel is open all year round except January. Family rooms are priced per room irrespective of how many occupants. Some rooms accommodate 5 people.
