Newquay is very central to other places of interest, such as Looe, Polperro, St Ives and Lands End, which are all less than an hour’s drive away. If you like horse-riding, there are many stables locally for beach, river and country riding. Golfers also have many good courses to choose from. Newquay also offers good surfing all year round with a concentration of breaks which work on different tides.If you prefer to leave the car at home or don't drive: no problem. Newquay has its own train station and a multitude of coach and bus tours covering the whole county and large parts of Devon.
