Cocoon is located just off Hardman Street, around the corner from the Philharmonic and Hope Street.The Matthew Street area is 10 to 15 minutes away, and the nightlight at Concert Square is 5 to 10 minutes’ walk away. City centre shops at Bold Street can be reached within 5 minutes’ walk. Liverpool Arena and Liverpool One shopping are approximately 20 to 25 minutes’ walk away.Anfield/Goodison are a short bus ride out of the city centre.
On FootFrom Lime Street Train Station:Leave by the main exit onto Lime Street (opposite St George’s Hall). Turn left and walk along Lime Street, past the Adelphi Hotel. Continue to the top of the street; use the church as your landmark. At the junction with the church, turn left into Hardman Street. Continue through the traffic lights, and South Hunter Street is on the left. There is a pizza shop on the corner of the road. The International Inn is on the right-hand side, approximately 100 metres away.From National Express Coach Station:Exit the coach station onto Norton Street. Turn left and walk to the traffic lights, and then cross onto Seymour Street (continuation of Norton Street). Seymour Street runs into Russell Street. Continue along the road as it runs into Clarence Street and then Rodney Street. At the junction of Hardman Street (HSBC Bank on the corner) turn left and walk along until the second road on the left, which is South Hunter Street. The International Inn is on the right. By BusFrom Liverpool John Lennon Airport:Take the public bus 80A, 86A or the 86N night bus to the city centre. Ask the bus driver to let you off at the Philharmonic on Hardman Street. The bus journey time is 30 to 40 minutes. Walk 2 minutes down the hill of Hardman St until you come to the Flute pub on the corner of South Hunter Street. The International Inn is on the right-hand side. The Airport Express number 500 bus is slightly quicker, but stops 10 to 15 minutes’ walk away. From the Ferry Terminal:From the terminal at Pier Head, take the number 224 bus from Canada Boulevard. This stops at Ranelagh Street, outside Lewis's department store. From here you will have to walk along Renshaw Street to the junction of Leece Street (the bombed church is on the corner). Turn left up the hill onto Leece Street, which runs into Hardman Street. South Hunter Street is the 4th road on the left (the Flute & Firkin is on the corner). The hotel is further along, on the right-hand side.
