In keeping with the traditional atmosphere of the building, we have quality meeting facilities for up to 60 people. Wedding ceremonies can also be held at the Ravensworth Arms as a civil wedding licence is held here.
The Ravensworth Arms has 13 quality rooms available, both doubles and twins for twin or single occupancy. The rooms are all en suite with flat screen colour TV and Sky channels. There are tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, telephone and hairdryer in all rooms. Z-beds can be supplied for children if needed.
The hotel offers an extensive menu of fresh, seasonal dishes; we pride ourselves on sourcing only the finest of quality ingredients. Our steaks are cut from 35 day matured British beef to bring you a more tender, succulent meat. We use British farm assured chicken and outdoor reared pork selected for their superior taste. We also offer a selection of our chef’s very own speciality dishes selected and prepared by our very own team of chefs.
The Ravensworth Arms is situated in a peaceful, countryside setting, yet is close to all amenities with quick connections to all major transport links, business areas and local attractions. Just off the A1, the Ravensworth is ideal for visitors of such places of interest as the MetroCentre, St James' Park, Newcastle's Quayside and there is even a picturesque view of the Angel of the North from the hotel.
By Car (from the A1):- Leave the A1 at Team Valley Retail World and take the Lamesley exit from the roundabout. - Follow the road for approximately 0.75 miles and at the mini roundabout take the right hand turn signed Kibblesworth. - Take your first left and the hotel is about 200 yards on the right. Other Transport:- The hotel is close to both Newcastle Airport and Newcastle Central train station. - There is a very reliable bus service which goes through both Newcastle and Gateshead with access to the Metro rail system.
