Hostel Hubert House in Dover

Hubert House has an excellent bistro. Using only fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce, you can enjoy a delicious menu at great value, prepared by chef Ryan Hanson.Bistro is open 12.30 until 4pm Wednesday - Sunday for lunch and 5.30 till 9pm from Wednesday to Saturday.Room service is available until 22:00 every evening.Breakfast is taken in the bistro every morning (or in fine weather, on the terrace). Early risers may request a 'breakfast to go', and breakfast in bed is also available.

Dover is a wonderful English Town with so much history to enjoy. The White Cliffs of Dover are on your doorstep, as is Dover Castle and the Secret Wartime Tunnels. Dover also boasts an exceptional Museum that holds the world’s only specimen of a Bronze Age ship. There is also the unused Napoleonic Fortress, the Roman Painted House, the Viking Trail and a Templar church ruin.Outside of Dover there are historic seaside towns, Canterbury, the Romney/Hythe Railway and the access to Europe.

By Car- When travelling via the A2, head off the A2 at the roundabout for the castle.- Go past the castle, down the hill and take the first left on your immediate left.

Hubert House is situated at the foot of the hill leading up to Dover Castle, and the world-renowned White Cliffs. It is just 2 minutes' walk from the centre and 5 minutes from the ferry and cruise terminals. The included buffet breakfast offers home-baked croissants, fresh fruit, real coffee and artisan teas. The additional hot breakfast menu uses locally sourced, award-winning produce.

Long-term stays (stays longer than 5 nights) require direct contact with owners and may require a deposit.Payment is due on arrival. Hubert House will add an additional cost to payments made by credit card (no charge for debit card).The bistro at Hubert House will be closed for refurbishment from 19 October 2009 until the week beginning 16 Novemeber 2009. Breakfast is not affected.
