It is an ideal place to relax and unwind, after a busy day or a day of exploring. The house of the Abbeydale Hotel dates back to 1892, where part of it was a vicarage. Converted into a Hotel in 1988 it has all the modern facilities needed by business & leisure travellers alike.
All bedrooms are individual in their decor and style offering comfort and modern facilities. Whether on business or leisure you are guaranteed a pleasant stay. All rooms have Colour TV with teletext, direct dial telephone (ideal for connecting to the Internet), radio, hair dryers, Tea & Coffee making facilities with biscuits, fresh fruit, and mineral water.

Coming into Chesterfield on the A617 from the M1 you come to an island at the end of the duel carrageway. Go straight across the island to the next island and turn left down Markham Road (A619). This takes you through a set of traffic lights to another island (B&Q on the island).Take the next road after B&Q that you can turn off the roundabout onto and go up the hill to the traffic lights at the top of the hill. Straight across (West Street) and to the next junction where you turn right into Cross Street and the hotel is on the left.
