For those with restricted mobility, the hotel provides a lift to all floors and a ramp at side of the hotel giving easy access to main hotel entrance. However, please note that the inside of the hotel is not suitable for wheelchairs. The Ball Room & Chelsea Bar host entertainment most evenings, including dancing and sing-a-longs provided by the resident DJs and organist, along with regular cabaret artistes and Bingo.A games room with a pool table, video games and more is also available. A late night key is available upon request, although the hotel does request that if you are coming back late that you respect other guests and keep noise levels to a minimum.
In addition to the facilities listed, each bedroom is equipped with central heating and double glazing.At an additional cost you can get a room with a sea view. Please place a request in the comments box if you would like this. Please note that it is subject to availability.
Vegetarian dishes are served and most special diets can be catered for on prior request.

Situated on the Promenade mid-way between Central and South Piers, this family friendly hotel is within easy walking distance of Blackpool’s main attractions and shopping areas. Once you arrive at the Kensington Hotel, you can leave your car and explore the town on foot. If you wish to venture further afield, there are bus and tram links opposite the hotel, taking you across the town and to the surrounding areas, such as, Fleetwood (home to one of the oldest traditional markets in Lancashire), Cleveleys and Freeport. During illumination season, a tram ride is a delightful way to see this unique spectacle. For moments of relaxation you can take in the wonderful views over the Irish Sea of the sunset from the comfort of the sun lounge.
