We have carefully restored and enhanced the annex to hold 7 luxury bedrooms and bathrooms. They have all been designed to maximise your comfort.Each has a flat screen TV with Sky, a radio, room service, Wi-Fi internet access and tea/coffee making facilities.

There are 7 lovely walks in the Monkton Combe valley. We can arrange:- both clay pigeon all year or live bird shooting during the season.- tickets for all Bath Rugby home games from September to May.- visits to the newly opened Thermae Spa at special rates. For narrow boating, we are one mile from the Kennet and Avon Canal and can suggest suitable companies to use. You can walk or cycle along the canal. There is a cycle route next to the pub and bikes can be hired nearby.

By car from Bath:- Follow the A36 for Warminster. - After about 4 miles turn right at sign for Monkton Combe.- Continue straight at crossroads into the village.- Wheelwrights Arms is on the left past the school.

This inn nestles in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe, surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys. Recently refurbished accommodation houses 7 luxury bedrooms with bathrooms or showers. There are 5 doubles, one twin and one single room. The pub offers an informal area to relax with a drink or dine. Menus are changed regularly and include bar snacks, light lunches and a la carte selections. Local ingredients are used where possible. You can relax with a drink by the open fire or in the garden.Our 2 buildings were originally constructed by William Harold, a carpenter, who built a house and workshop around 1750. In 1871, William Harold III converted the house into a public house and in 1981, the workshops were converted into bed and breakfast accommodation.
