Swan Hotel in Arundel 

At weekends the hotel offers a slightly later check-out time of 1030 hours as breakfast is served slightly later on Saturdays & Sundays between the hours of 0800 hours and 1000 hours.

All rooms are non-smoking with either en suite bathrooms or shower rooms and Wi-Fi access, as well as the facilities already listed. Ironing facilities or trouser press are available upon request. Room service is also available upon request between 08:00 and 23:00 for drinks and cold food service.

Arundel is just off the A27 between Chichester and Brighton. The Swan Hotel can be found in the town centre at the bottom of the High Street, just by the River Arun. Arundel is well placed for exploring the lovely countryside, Downland villages and coastal areas of West Sussex. It forms an excellent centre for touring Brighton, Worthing, Petworth and the Cathedral town of Chichester, which are all close by. You will find many other places of interest in and around Arundel, including the Cathederal, Arundel Park, the Wild Fowl Trust and of course the River Arun, which winds its way through the heart of the town where boat trips can be taken. Arundel also has a host of shops to suit all tastes, from antiques to ladies' fashion.

Situated in the heart of Arundel, this grade II listed Victorian building was completely refurbished in 2004 to combine traditional comforts with the facilities of a modern 3-star hotel. The town of Arundel is an enchanting place for you to explore. It is famous for its 12th century castle which was once the historic seat of the Duke of Norfolk, the premier Dukedom of the realm. The Swan Hotel itself dates back to 1759 and is a prominent building on the High Street. The hotel's bar, serving the family owned Fuller Smith & Turner Ltd Ale, proves to be particularly popular with locals and guests alike. A large range of real ales and continental lagers are served in the bar. To complete your day, pay a visit to the hotel’s restaurant which serves freshly prepared food daily. The menu is complimented by a wide range of quality wines from the 200 year old wine cellar.

Although the hotel unfortunately does not have private parking facilities due to its prominent location in the town centre, it is located very close to a public pay display car park that charges quite reasonable rates. It is only chargeable between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00, overnight it is free (advisable to put a ticket on your car overnight as it does not start charging until the morning, so then saving you the inconvenience of rushing out early in the morning). There are also numerous alternative parking facilities around the town some of which are free, all within walking distance of the hotel.
