At this small privately owned B&B you will find a home away from home.If you do not have your own laptop, there's a pc available to you in the main hotel area. Feel free to use the internet at any time.The owner of the B&B has 2 cats and 2 parrots. These very friendly animals stay with the owner and do not enter the guest rooms. Although, Puma does sometimes beg for a piece of cheese in the morning...

The guest kitchen provides a variety of foods and drinks such as:breads, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, muesli, crackers, eggs, cheese, bacon, jam, fruit juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate.Available 24 hours and included in the price.

This centrally located B&B is a short walk from Vondelpark, Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. You can explore the shops and restaurants of the Jordaan or embark on a boat trip of Amsterdam's famous canals from near by.The neighbourhood Oud-west is very centrally located in between the Museum area, the night-life area ( Leidseplein ) and the cultured Jordaan area . Oud-west is a quiet neighbourhood with some nice shops that, amongst other things, sell birkenstock (sandals), cheese, pastries and fish. There are also some local restaurants near to the hotel.

Taxi:- From Schiphol airport it is about 18 km to the centre of Amsterdam. Train:- A train will take you in less than 20 minutes from Schiphol airport station to Amsterdam Central Station. - From the front of the Central Station, take one of the trams (1, 2 or 5) going to the Leidseplein. From there, it is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel. - Walk towards the Marriott hotel and the NH-hotel which you can see straight ahead of you. - Cross and turn right there where the street is called Stadhouderskade, cross the next intersection and proceed ahead, where the name of the road changes into Nassaukade, then turn left into the first road, ( just before Avis rent a car but after Tulip/Inn ) called the Eerste Helmersstraat.- On you right you will see the hotel (number 34).

This recently renovated small B&B is situated in a house dating from 1910 and offers well equipped rooms, each with its own character and free (wireless) internet, close to the Leidseplein and many theatres.A Bed & Breakfast Flynt opened its doors in 2002 and since then it has offered a peaceful place to stay in this vibrant city. Positioned on a quiet street, this B&B offers you a restful and comfortable place to stay, from where you can experience Amsterdam and all its fascinating, cultural charms. Ieke, the owner, and her 2 cats and 2 parrots living on the ground floor, will try to ensure that you enjoy your stay and provide you with personal attention to detail, so that staying in Flynt feels like a home away from home. The B&B also takes care of the environment by using, for example, environmentally friendly products for cleaning and washing.
