B&B WestViolet has 2 well appointed rooms, each with their own character. The rooms have:* A stylish bathroom en suite* Cable television* Excellent quality beds* A guest computer is available for use in the kitchen area.A fully equipped kitchen is available for guests (24-hour self service).An unlimited supply of food and drinks (such as different kinds of breads, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, crackers, eggs, cheese & bacon, jam, juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate) are provided for you and are included in the price. As we do not have a reception we have to know your time of arrival in advance!

From Schiphol airport it is about 18 km to the centre of Amsterdam. A taxi will charge you about € 35,- to get to Violettenstraat 4.The train will take you in less than 20 minutes from Schiphol airport station to Amsterdam Central Station. From there you can easily take a tram to our B&B.Taking the tram from Central Station: from the front of the Central Station, take trams 13, 14 or 17 and get off at the stop Anne Franks House/ Westermarkt (only 4 stops).Follow the Prinsengracht (the main canal to the right, behind the church) and cross the second bridge on your left. Go straight ahead into the Anjelierstraat and take the first street on your right. This is the Violettenstraat.

Beautifully situated in the heart of the lively Jordaan, the brand new B&B WestViolet offers stylish accommodations in a historical and characteristic neighbourhood.The house dates from 1877 but the rooms are the example of modern comfort. Each has been warmly decorated, has its own particular character and is trendy – even down to the bathroom. This central location means that all the main attractions, museums and shopping streets are within distance, or easily reached by bike or tram. Staying in the Jordaan is a real treat; the unique ambiance and surprising tranquillity complement the typical bustle of Amsterdam.
