By car from Germany on the Munich - Salzburg motorway:- Exit for Siegsdorf-Inzell. Go past Lofer, Saalfelden and Maishofen.- In front of the tunnel, turn right towards Zell am See and after 500 metres turn left towards Thumersbach.By following this route you are not using Austrian motorways and you therefore do not need to pay Austrian road taxes.

This countryside hotel is set in a beautiful, quiet location, amidst the Pinzgauer mountains, close to the lake.
