Our hotel was opened on 1 July 2007 and offers comfortable rooms, conference rooms, parking for cars and bicycles, as well as rooms for student accommodation.We are a unique hotel located in the centre of Vienna. The colourful exterior continues in the interior of the hotel reflecting the liveliness and joy of living in our house. Our varied breakfast buffet is prepared with attention to detail and if the weather allows can be served on the terrace.There are numerous restaurant options nearby, for example at the Vienna market or in the city centre. We offer sparkling drinking water according to Johann Grander, the inventor of the water stimulation.Our house is suitable for guests with allergies as we have no carpets and we use allergy friendly bedding.

The superior rooms offer a modern and colourful interior, a spacious bathroom and all modern facilities. Internet access with LAN-cable is only available in the superior rooms. Cables can be obtained from the reception desk. Standard rooms are comfortable and functional and offer all the standard facilities of a 2-star hotel. Unique to Vienna, Kolping Wien Zentral offers 9 apartments for up to 18 disabled guests. Some rooms are large enough to accommodate 2 wheelchair users. The accommodation has adapted bathrooms, including baths with grab-rails and wheel-in showers.

How to reach Kolping Wien ZentralOur house is situated near the historic city (10 minutes to walk) center of Vienna - our location is perfect for your city-holiday - you can reach most of the historic sights by walking (12 - 15 minutes to the historic city center) or very easy with the public transports. From the airport:Please use the CAT ( € 9,--) or the Schnellbahn, get off at station "Landstraße Wien-Mitte", take the underground U4 (green line) direction Hütteldorf, get off at station "Kettenbrückengasse", coming out of the station turn left, cross the street, go straight ahead up to Stiegengasse - our house is at number 10.From the train station Südbahnhof:Take the bus 13 A, get off at the "Gumpendorferstraße station Apollokino, Haus des Meeres", follow the Gumpendorferstraße downhill aprx. 200 meters, at the corner Stiegengasse turn right, our house is at number 10 on the left street side.From the trainstation Westbahnhof:Take the underground U6 direction Siebenhirten, get off at station "Längenfeldgasse", change to underground U4 direction Heiligenstadt, get off at Kettenbrückengasse,coming out of the station turn left, cross the street, go straight ahead up to Stiegengasse - our house is at number 10.From the highway A2 from Italy, Carynthia,Graz:Take the exit direction "Zentrum - city center", follow the Triesterstraße aprx. 4000 meters straight ahead, pass under a train bridge, cross the Matzleinsdorferplatz, (follow dir. Zentrum), go down the "Reinprechtsdorferstraße aprx. 1000 meters, at corner "Schönbrunnerstraße" turn right - its a one way, follow the left street (it makes a bend to the left than to the right) - go straight ahead on the "Rechte Wienzeile" aprx. 800 meters, untill you reach the "Naschmarkt" - you can see our sign - turn left, at the next street light turn left, and immediately turn right again, you are in the "Stiegengasse"From the highway A1 from Germany, Salzburg, Linz:Take the exit direction "Zentrum - city center", go straight ahead, pass caslte Schönbrunn, go straight ahead - its a one way, at the corner "Reinprechtsdorferstraße" change to the left street, (it makes a bend to the left than to the right) - go straight ahead on the "Rechte Wienzeile" aprx. 800 meters, untill you reach the "Naschmarkt" - you can see our sign - turn left, at the next street light turn left, and immediately turn right again, you are in the "Stiegengasse"

Our new Kolpinghaus Wien Zentral was opened on 1 July 2007. It is the ideal base to reach all attractions of Vienna's city centre within 12 minutes walk.Although the hotel is situated in the city centre of Vienna it is in a quiet location. Most of the rooms have a view of the courtyard and, weather allowing, guests can have breakfast in the garden.Our house is 100% accessible for disabled guests and we are the only hotel in Vienna that offers 9 specially equipped disabled rooms. The whole house was built according to Feng Shui criteria to ensure that our guests experience a feeling of harmony, regeneration and well being supported by the vital force Qi.
