Radstadt is a small, historic town in the mountains, offering many sports and leisure opportunities in every season. In winter it is located at the heart of Ski Amadé region, and is also a paradise for cross-country skiing. The Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area and other large ski areas can be reached in less than 15 minutes. In summer there are many options for excursions, including the Dachstein Glacier, the city of Salzburg, the Eisriesenwelt (ice cave), the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and many castles. Leisure options include hiking, climbing, cycling and golf (golf course in Radstadt).

There is a ski bus stop at the hotel, free ski transfers to the nearby slopes, and snowshoe tours, while in the warmer months, there are 3 guided hiking tours a week with expert guides and daily hiking tips. Families with children will enjoy the hiking tours for children, the daily child care programme (Monday to Friday), the pony rides, adventure tours, campfires and the large playground. The hotel also features a modern spa area with sauna and steam bath.
