In summer the mountains around Mutters are a wonderful hiking area. The new Mutterer Alm lift gives you access to many beautiful hiking trails.Innsbruck is only 8 km away. There is a direct tram connection taking about 30 minutes.Other great day trips are Salzburg (180 km) and Neuschwanstein Castle (110 km).In winter Mutters is surrounded by 9 ski areas with a total of 270 km of slopes, serviced by a free ski bus with a stop in front of the hotel.

At Innsbruck's main train station, change to the Stubaitalbahn Tram (leaves every 30 minutes) and get off at the Nockhofweg stop.
