The “Den Wolsack” hotel is located in the very heart of the city of Mechelen, at the foot of the St.-Rombouts Cathedral.Mechelen is a monument-filled city situated at a comfortable distance of Antwerp and Brussels, two of Belgium's most important cultural and touristic cities. Obviously, its vicinity to the Mechelen Industrial Zones (Mechelen Noord and Mechelen Zuid) entails frequent visits from business travellers.

The "Mechelen - Nekkerspoel" railway station is the closest to the hotel (15 minutes at walking distance). Walking from the "Mechelen Centraal" station would take about 25 minutes, but you can also take the city bus.Mechelen has a very punctual city bus network (De Lijn) as well as reliable taxi services.
